La cultura del corto permea qualsiasi prodotto della nostra società, non solo il cinema. La brevità come filtro che ci permette di far posto alla molteplicità di contenuti che ci circondano, senza perderci niente: “Sì, grazie, poco di tutto!”

In programma 4 appuntamenti a settembre, in un percorso urbano di storie e visioni che si articola in diversi luoghi della città.

Road to MAX3MIN, la quarta edizione è alle porte: dal 4 al 6 ottobre a Milano e poi online in tutto il mondo.

Chiacchiere brevi con la direttrice di M3M Martina Schmied e Alessandro Ciacci, autore di stand up comedy. Un dialogo provocante tra la settima arte e la commedia: come evolvono cinema, show o una battuta ai tempi ristretti di oggi? A seguire cortometraggi in giardino: il best of dei film provenienti da Asia, Africa e America Latina selezionati dall’ultima edizione di MAX3MIN.

Corti Mostruosamente Corti
Il tempo, mostro multiforme che non è mai abbastanza oppure non passa mai. È il mostro che abbiamo da sempre voluto domare, fermare, accelerare, rallentare… per poi renderci conto che il tempo non esiste. Esiste solo il presente, l’attimo in cui viviamo. Quel punto spaziale infinitesimale dove l’arcobaleno tocca la foresta, che se andiamo a guardare non c'è. M3M insegue - ingurgita e sputa - il presente, proponendo una selezione di cortometraggi internazionali di massimo 3 minuti ciascuno, senza categorie né limitazioni, in un viaggio stimolante dove in pochi minuti si attraversano le storie del mondo. Durante la serata, proiezione di una selezione di cortometraggi dall'ultima edizione di MAX3MIN accompagnata da un dialogo tra il Festival e la Fondazione.

Shorts & Chats around the city!

The culture of what is short permeates every single product of our society, not only the cinema. Brevity as a filter which lets us make room for the multiplicity of contents that surround us, without losing anything: “Yes, thank you, a little of everything!”

4 appointments are scheduled for September, in an urban itinerary of stories and visions that is organized in different places in the city.

The path to MAX3MIN, the fourth edition is coming soon: from 4 to 6 October in Milan and then online all over the world!

Short chats with the Director of M3M Martina Schmied and Alessandro Ciacci, author of stand-up comedy. A provocative dialogue between the seventh art and comedy: how do the cinema, shows or a joke evolve in the short times of today? To be followed by short films in the garden: the best of the films from  Asia, Africa and Latin America selected from the last edition of MAX3MIN.

Shorts + a guide to the vision by Vincenzo Rossini, MAX3MIN selector & contributor

An honest guide to seeing the short films of  MAX3MIN: an evening of guided screenings with a selection of short films from the last edition of the festival,  told by Vincenzo Rossini, selector of M3M and a contributor to film and music magazines, and with his motivations.

Shorts monstruosly shorts + shorts chats

Time, a multi-faceted monster that is never enough or never passes. It is the monster that we have always wanted to tame, stop, accelerate, slow down… …to then realize that time does not exist. It is only the present that exists, the second in which we are living. That infinitely tiny spatial point where the rainbow touches the forest, which if we go and look, is not there.

M3M chases - swallows and spits out – the present, proposing a selection of international short films with a maximum running time of 3 minutes each, without categories or limitations, on a stimulating journey where in a few minutes you can go through stories of the world. During the evening, screening of a selection of short films from the last edition of  MAX3MIN accompanied by a dialogue between the Festival and the Foundation.
