Una serie di appuntamenti estivi a Milano per rendere omaggio alla cultura del corto. Serate a tema con proiezioni di cortometraggi da tutto il mondo, playlist sempre diverse con il best of delle passate edizioni di MAX3MIN: un viaggio nel cinema breve e un elogio alla brevità.

Saranno tre le location che ospiteranno gli appuntamenti del Summer Tour. Si parte mercoledì 21 giugno al Nuovo Armenia, dove per tutta la stagione estiva MAX3MIN sarà presente ogni settimana con due cortometraggi che apriranno le proiezioni serali nella splendida cornice del cinema in giardino.

Mercoledì 28 giugno MAX3MIN sbarca a UN locale palco cucina, nel cuore di Piazza Napoli, con una staffetta di cortometraggi al bar: ogni ora verranno proiettati 6 film dalle passate edizioni di MAX3MIN, per immaginare la prossima edizione.

Terzo degli appuntamenti in programma è con i cortometraggi nell’orto mercoledì 12 luglio presso Cascina Martesana, lungo il Naviglio Piccolo. MAX3MIN proporrà una serata di cortometraggi adatti a pubblici diversi, dall’animazione alla fiction, dai visual al cinema sperimentale e molto altro ancora: un appuntamento dedicato al cinema corto sotto il cielo estivo di un orto di socialità e condivisione.

Tutti i film sono proiettati in versione originale con sottotitoli in inglese.

Durante le serate del Summer Tour sarà inoltre aperta la campagna abbonamenti a prezzo speciale per il festival. L’appuntamento è poi a settembre con tutti i film del concorso di MAX3MIN visibili online dall’11 al 17 settembre, e gli appuntamenti festivalieri in presenza a Milano a partire dal 15 settembre nei bellissimi spazi della Cineteca Milano MIC per una vera e propria festa tra cinema, musica, laboratori e talk.

Noi di MAX3MIN, dopo essere stati un festival solo online nella prima edizione durante il lockdown, ora siamo nel mondo reale, ad  appropriarci di Milano come scarafaggi in fuga o rotolando come pietre. Andremo in ogni dove: siamo pronti, prontissimi per entrare nei bar con un palco e cucina, per andare in un vero e proprio cinema sotto le stelle e in una cascina milanese e oltre ancora... forse attraverseremo anche l'Atlantico e navigheremo il Mediterraneo”. The MAX3MIN Short Culture Summer Tour is here: a series of summer dates in Milan to pay tribute to the culture of the short film. Thematic evenings with screenings of short films in genuine praise of brevity, a journey in short cinema and in the contemporary age which is increasingly micro, fast, impatient and sensitive to the reduction of time and space.

The programme of the Summer Tour will offer playlists that are always different with the best of the past editions of MAX3MIN, from animation to fiction, from videoclips to digital art, but also documentaries, advertising and much more.

Three locations will host the rendezvous of the Summer Tour. We start on Wednesday 21 June at the Nuovo Armenia, where for the whole of the summer  MAX3MIN will be present every week with two short films that will open the evening screenings in the splendid surroundings of a cinema in a garden.

On Wednesday 28 June, MAX3MIN will land at UN locale palco cucina, in the heart of Piazza Napoli, with a sequence of short films: every hour, 6 films from past editions of MAX3MIN will be screened, to imagine the next edition of the festival.

The third date in the programme is with the short films in the garden on Wednesday 12 July at the Cascina Martesana, on the Naviglio Piccolo. MAX3MIN will offer an evening of short films for different audiences, from animation to fiction, from visuals to experimental cinema and much more: a rendezvous dedicated to short films under the summer sky in a garden of socializing and sharing.

All the films are screened in their original version with subtitles in English.

During the Summer Tour dates, the campaign to purchase the festival pass at a special price will also be open. The appointment is then for September with all the films in the MAX3MIN competition, visible online from 11 to 17 September, and the festival rendezvous in presence in Milan from 15 September in the beautiful premises of the Cineteca Milano MIC for a genuine celebration of cinema, music, workshops and talks.

At MAX3MIN, after having been a festival that was only online in the first edition during the lockdown, we are now in the real world, taking over Milan like beetles scurrying away or like rolling stones. We will go everywhere: we are ready, very ready to go into bars with a stage and kitchen, to go into a real open-air cinema and to a Milanese farmhouse and even more... we might even cross the Atlantic and sail in the Mediterranean.” Martina Schmied
