Directed and animated by 15 students in USC's CTXA 470 Documentary Animation Production class, Spring 2020.
Director's notes
Vicky & Xingu” is a collaborative film made in USC's CTXA 470 Documentary Animation Production class. All of the students pitched ideas for the film, and they voted overwhelmingly for Vicky’s story. Each student interviewed her, and the audio was edited by Mariam Khayat and Vicky Xu. All of the students animated and directed on the film which was completed in one semester with the guidance of instructor Sheila M. Sofian.
